"The Lord is a warrior; the Lord is his name."
Exodus 15:3
Modern Christianity has sanitized God into something safe. A cosmic therapist. A divine grandfather. A deity who would never raise His voice, let alone His sword.
But Scripture reveals a different picture entirely. "The Lord is a warrior; the Lord is his name." This isn't one attribute among many—it's His name. His identity.
The God who drowned Pharaoh's army in the Red Sea. The God who stopped the sun so Joshua could finish the battle. The God who will return on a white horse with a sword in His hand and fire in His eyes. This is the Warrior God.
This design is a theological correction for a church that's forgotten who they serve. Our God is not tame. He is not safe. He is good—but good is not the same as gentle. Sometimes good means fighting. Sometimes love means war.
We serve a Warrior God. And that should change everything about how we approach the battles in our own lives.
