Ephesians 6:13
Notice what Paul says: "after you have done everything, to stand." There's a progression here. You fight. You struggle. You do everything you can. And then—when you're exhausted, when you've given everything—the call is still the same: stand.
This isn't about winning every battle. It's about refusing to be knocked down permanently. You might get hit. You might stumble. You might even fall. But the calling remains: get back up and stand.
The "day of evil" will come. Paul doesn't say "if"—he says "when." And on that day, the measure of a man won't be how hard he hit but whether he was still standing when it was over.
You were called to this. Not called to comfort. Called to stand. When the dust settles and the smoke clears, the only question that matters is: did you stand?
